“I am Diablín, the little devil. I may look mischievous, but I don’t come to frighten you — I’m here to celebrate life, bring a little colour and remind you that life is too colourful to be taken too seriously!”
I come from Mexico, where colour, humour and imagination have a special place in the celebration of Día de los Muertos. With my little horns, cheeky smile and vibrant red body, I bring a playful twist to the Mexican tradition of celebrating life and remembering those we love.
I was shaped by hand from papier-mâché and carefully painted to give me my own personality. My long-articulated limbs allow me to move and pose, so you can decide whether I want to dance, wave, sit or simply stand proudly watching over your home.
I may be a little devil, but don't worry — I didn't come to cause trouble! I came to bring colour, character and a little Mexican mischief wherever I go. Take me home and let me become part of your celebrations, your collection of Mexican folk art or simply that unexpected piece that makes everyone smile.
